On the auspicious occasion of the commemorative 15th National Congress of Chinese Rheumatology Association (CRA) on May 12-15, 2010, being held in Xian, China, I extend our fraternal greetings to all Chinese colleagues and rheumatologists, on behalf of all members of Syrian Association for Rheumatology (SAR), and in my capacity as APLAR 2012 Congress President, representing APLAR members in Arab countries, Pan Arab Rheumatology Society (PARS).
Your Scientific Program, list of distinguished speakers, various presentations as announced in your CRA website look all very interesting and impressive, and I congratulate you, CRA leadership and the 15th CRA Congress Organizing Committee members, for excellent program arrangements and many significant sessions in this historically significant Silk-Road city of Xian.
I sincerely wish you for very successful/fruitful meetings in Xian, ancient and high-tech city in China. We also convey our message of solidarity to all Chinese people who have bravely recovered from the devastating earthquakes in Sichuan and Shaanxi, and the latest one in Qinghai. I am confident your Congress efforts in Xian will bring closer cooperation between CRA and SAR/PARS in the future.
Also, on this occasion, I wish to draw your attention to the 15th APLAR Congress (APLAR2012), which will be held on Sept.10-14, 2012 at Ommayad Palace Congress Center, in Damascus Syria.
We will be most happy to welcome many Chinese participants to the attractive city of Damascus, a World Heritage city, and assist Chinese colleagues to visit Syria easier for APLAR 2012 Congress. We will keep you informed with the progress of our preparation via congress media, as time goes on.
